The content is yours to use

The HX Framework — the framework text, the CARE Charter, the LGTM metric definitions, the policy kit, and the PSF specification — is published under CC BY 4.0. You can read, quote, adapt, and adopt it, commercially or otherwise, with attribution to “The HX Framework (hxframework.org).” The names “HX Framework” and “PSF” identify this project and its format; use them to refer to the real thing.

Templates, not advice

The policy kit, the GDPR annex, and the charter are templates and reference material. They are not legal advice, and adopting them doesn't create an advisory relationship with us. Review anything you adopt with your own counsel.

The score API

The shareable-reading service exists so a person can run the assessment and send the result to a colleague. Use it at human speed: no bulk or automated submissions, nothing unlawful, and nothing in the organization-name field you wouldn't put on a public page — share links are readable by anyone who has them. We may remove readings that abuse the service, and we may adjust or discontinue the service itself.

No warranty

The site and its content are provided as they are, without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent the law allows, we are not liable for damages arising from use of the site, the content, or the score API.
